Week 2/52 - Dat $tick

Sorry I am one day late! Week 2 (January 8-14) has been an interesting yet busy week for me. I recently found out a good friend of mine Sophia is moving out of Washington to California. Sad, yet happy for her, we needed to hang out one last time. We were trying to figure out when and where should we do our photo shoot. Finally, she messaged me saying she knows the perfect location for our photo shoot! She sent me an an invitation to her friend's house of a Birthday/Going Away party Hawaiian theme. I knew it was going to be a good night.
Her natural environment is being with friends at their house where she can be herself. Here I wanted to capture how she behaves around her friends.

There is nothing normal here. Everything is special.
At the end of the night, Sophia wanted to do a similar photo from Rich Chigga of being outside in front of some dope cars from a music video. For us, our dope outside car photo were with Toyota Camry. However, there were way more of us rather than Rich Chigga because we blocked the cars. The coolest part of this photo were the headlights beaming behind all of us.
I am happy to be a part of Sophia's life. I am also happy she became a part of my 52 week project as my second week. To Sophia - Thank you for that opportunity! I will miss you dearly here in Seattle! That means I need to see you in California!!!
